I was thinking today of when we first moved to Utah. We had sold our house in North Carolina, packed up all our worldly possessions, lived in an apartment in NC for a few months while finding a job out here, and then stayed in my husband's parent's house while trying to buy our Utah house.
It was a hard move. Long in the making. Long in the completing.
But when I look at pictures of newborn Charlie, I remember what a joy it was to finally be here.
My husband and I were such NEW grandparents.
We hardly knew what to do.
But we LOVED it.
