Yummy peaches were on sale recently. I bought a whole box and let them ripen to perfection.
Then I got out my favorite recipe for canning peaches. SPICED peaches.
I made the spiced syrup. Mmmmm. It smelled so good.
I gave the peaches a hot water bath.
Slipped them out of their skins.
Sliced them into the spiced syrup.
Filled the jars.
Processed the jars for the appropriate time.
Then sat back and enjoyed the fruits of my labor. Literally. ;)
